Nokia and Xiaomi recently signed a new collaboration agreement, making it one of the top innovations in the technology arena. And after this collaboration, the main areas in which the two giants will now work together are augmented reality, which is to be known as AR and virtual reality or VR.

Needless to say, this will lead to the production of a number of very interesting products in the near future. Both AR and VR are relatively new in the technology arena in terms of their distinctive uses.

However, for a long time, serious experiments were performed on them. The main difference between the two is that in virtual reality, a completely artificial environment is presented to the user in an immersive way, while in augmented reality, the environment is true and real, but improved with some digital media inputs placed on top.

And now, after this great alliance, it is clear that we will see many other experiments with these two interesting phenomena, namely AR and VR.

Rajiv Suri, CEO of Nokia, is very pleased with this alliance and looks forward to continuing to work with Xiaomi on various strategic projects in the coming years.

On the other hand, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, who is also quite excited about the collaboration, believes that Nokia is the undisputed leader in high-performance software networks and services and will be happy to partner with them to create excellent products for XIomi fans.

The new partnership between the two giants will allow them to license various cell patents, which will be very beneficial for both companies. They agreed to collaborate in several areas, such as the Internet of Things, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and, most interestingly, augmented reality.

It is important to note that Nokia has already tried to cope with the augmented reality several times before. The company did a small experiment in 2012 with Nokia City Lens on the Lumia 920 and 820. And again in 2013, when Nokia introduced new Windows phones, it added a similar feature to them, along with the AR app.

Although AR technology has already been explored by Nokia, at least to some extent, it is a completely new endeavor for Xiaomi and therefore they are very eager to work on it for the first time.

Although it is not yet known which product the joint venture will offer, there can be no doubt that the result will be remarkable and exceptional.

Moreover, this perfect alliance between the two technology giants is bound to make more innovative products available to many people, as they both believe that everyone should have access to state-of-the-art technology.

Finally, global fans of Xiaomi and Nokia are looking forward to this collaboration to see what the future holds for us.
